As I walked to our front door, a Red-Shouldered Hawk flew overhead and landed in a nearby tree. I was surprised to see her sit with outstretched wings, as I’ve seen Anhingas and Double-Crested Cormorants do. This was the first that I’ve seen a hawk in a horaltic pose.
