Best advice I got when my ex partner dumped me two+ years ago for another woman - "Trust the Process." I'd acknowledge the pain of the betrayal, the wound repeating "trust the process" like a prayer and mantra. EVENTUALLY I saw the purpose/the goodness/blessing behind such an awful event. (I often likened it to a crucifixion) Better yet, I saw that it allowed me to step thru a new door into a new chapter of life.
