… a God who was
a child when I was already getting old.
Old, older, oldest… gone… an ode to old,
and to all my friends who now look in
a mirror and whisper, was I not young
just an hour ago, now old, so old, but
still, I am here, old, but not yet dead.
Still singing my song of life, still old,
but so much better than I was young.
