Exactly why I love Medium so much!

…writers are creative in the sense that we create something(s) that weren’t, strictly, there before; but we do it with stolen materials. We didn’t create the words we choose; our subjects come from the “outside” world, crashing into an inner sensibility; and our purpose is null and void absent an audience. So, we search for expression, but we are ultimately in search of connection, of resonance, of a community.
