I always tell my children that I feel so privileged and blessed to have grown up in this era!

We were once as carefree as flower children 
who bloomed in grassy meadows,
the wild mushrooms that sprouted
after a summer rain,
our eyes were full of visions,
breathing in the air of idealism
and youthful rebellion.
