I do this daily via Medium - I write poetry. A falsification mindset, Tony - not being open to poetry. An 'anti-poetter' resisting the virus called verse. It's your right, of course. BUT here's a thought - I'm sure there are song lyrics that move you or powerful pieces of writing. As Baudelaire said (I think), "Be a poet even in prose."

Or as I wrote in a blurb for a "poetry for healing" workshop with cancer patients and their families: "You're a poet, even if you don't know it."
