I even contacted Medium support about this one It drives me nuts. Every now and then I get lucky and it works but mostly it jams. So thank you mucho for the link. Support didn't share it with me. Also glad, reading this piece, to know I'm not alone in my frustrations regarding wanting to follow and READ as many writers as possible.
