I forget what writer/mystic said this regarding God - but it stuck with me when I wonder WHY didn't God DO something? "God isn't God-in-an-ATM machine."

I also find it helpful that when Christ returned, his resurrected self still carried the wounds. We can move on, be reborn so to speak...but the scars still with us. (Richard Rohr plagerized)
