I have loved fantastical stories for as long as I can remember, beginning w/ a book of fairy tales I found in my father's office. Definite escapism but also spiritually invigorating and enhancing. Thanks for the book recommendations. I wrote a treatise in college on The Tempest - "this rough magic. I here abjure, and, when I have required." But haven't read the others.
