imitating a hawk. As I lo…Shouldered and Red-Tailed Hawks, but this was my first experience with a Blue Jay imitating a hawk. As I looked directly into his eyes, that little blue jokester emitted another hawk call, but that one was bolder, stronger, and more defiant as if showing off for me.
