I loved this, Linda. I've known about the Language of Flowers - forget how I stumbled on it. Probably looking up symbolism of a particular flower. I was hooked. I had no idea, however, of the history - or of the craze and how different authors had different meanings. Wow!

I kind of wish it'd come back into vogue. Except it'd get pricy. I'd have to hit up florists for the flowers because most won't grow here in So Cal, especially since climate change. Too hot.

Now, the language of succulents, THAT might work! :)
