I loved your poem - particularly,

Better to turn what’s heaviest​

that rise full of fire into weightless air​

​ ​ ​​​ ​ ​​​ ​ ​​​ ​ ​​​ ​ ​​than walk this earth

​ ​​​ ​​ ​​​ ​ ​​ ​ ​​​ ​ ​​ ​ ​​​ ​ carrying our fathers’ bones.

And the info about Shelley and Sylvia Plath was fascinating. Just fascinating, as all my highlighting shows. I will be sending this article to my daughter, the high school English teacher.
