I so resonated to this poem, Thomas. I worry that my acts of kindness are "thrown like cheap candy" as well. (WONDROUS image) How do we REALLY help? I suppose this is why I try to LISTEN really listen (I can fail at this, sigh) and then I ask, how can I help?
