I was a publicist pre-retirement. Worked at one point for an orchestra. Not exactly hard news. But every now and then, we'd have a pitch for a concert that intrigued media. I'll never forget a reporter (tv) telling me, It's so nice covering stories like these.

I heard the 'it's so nice' comment more than once. One story, involving 'singing nuns' even went viral.

YET I also saw reporters called away from covering the orchestra because a dead body or something awful had occurred.

"If it bleeds, it leads." Sigh, sigh, sigh. No wonder the world is bleeding out...
