I was a regurgitation queen in school, under huge parental pressure to make those As. Forgot so much, and certainly was no critical thinker. Life has sent lots of pop quizzes my way - the kind I couldn't prep for. Finally I've learned that the point is to bust open the box and let my soul spring free.
