I'm glad to hear the Japanese maples are fresh and bright in Fresno.

The mornings have been cold here and there has been frost at sunrise.
The leaves of the japanese maple trees are fresh and bright. 
Autumn comes here much later than it does at home.

I'm glad to hear the Japanese maples are fresh and bright in Fresno. Thanks to the drought, they're struggling here in LA. It breaks my heart - they're such gorgeous trees
