I'm with Jill. I spend a lot A LOT of time reading and engaging...and I enjoy doing so. But ONLY when I come from a place where it isn't about earning money from Medium. Then I relax, read what I can, do my best. And write my poetry. Which will of course, being poetry, never earn me the big bucks.

I also try to come from a place of gratitude that I'm BEING read...which I wasn't on my own blog.

It's hard - finding a balance between the need to earn $$ and writing on Medium. No clear answers from me, alas
