The air seems cleaner
The sun more brilliant
My hearing more attuned to Nature’s music
There is also gratitude for the living anchors
That held and prevented me from becoming unmoored
That whispered at the darkest moments
Of the hope for better tomorrows
Together
The Hard And Soft Rains Of Life
