It's one of my favorite childhood memories.

…nown as the Beatles, threatened to steal the last moral values from our already questionable souls. I watched their first concert in America with my father, live on the Ed Sullivan Variety Show, and my father was so angry he threw his house shoes at the screen threatening to disown my brother and me if we ever even thought about growing our hair that long.

It's one of my favorite childhood memories. (I was 9) Knew all their names by the end of the program. Fell in love w/ Paul, then John, then George and, today, Ringo!
