An instant haiku inspired by gorgeousness

I was driving yesterday around 4:30 p.m. when I glanced to my left and gasped. The mountains were this amazing shade of pinkish brown red.

Within moments I had the first two lines. When the third came, I pulled over and scribbled the full haiku on a UPS receipt.

Now I am ‘shipping’ this extraordinary moment of grace to you. May it speak to you as powerfully as it spoke to me.

Thank you, Whitney Rose, for your wondrous publication devoted to writings inspired not only by what we think and feel but SEE as well. Water droplets, all of it, in the creative sea.

Thank you, dearest readers, for ‘swimming’ alongside me.
