My grandson will be trick or treating tonight at a local shopping district.

Parents from the cities would bring their children to small towns to trick-or-treat. Small-town families were happy to purchase extra to keep city children safe. This still goes on today. In fact, most of those visiting my home are brought from 50 miles away.
