Oh, I know it's sort of ridiculous to comment on these lines but I love peanut M&Ms.

…ion is done, 
I’ll have read just about all the fiction 
he had written 
before exiting this earth…
handful of peanut M&Ms 
gives me something to chew 
between each page…
ice in a cup, 
sparkling water on top, 
watermelon fizzy stuff, 
and I pause now and then 
to close…
twenty minutes

Oh, I know it's sort of ridiculous to comment on these lines but I love peanut M&Ms. For me, this evokes fueling on life's sweetness as concocted by master confectioners/writers.
