…y nailed him. Luckily, Richie was wearing cargo shorts with baggy pockets; Tommy got mostly pocket. That on top of the stress already in my life did me in; I couldn’t do it any more. Through my sobs, I asked the vet to put him down. Tommy died at seven years old.
