We dined at the home of one of my daughter’s friends. We ate cheesecake at a 9-year-old’s birthday party. We went to the newly renovated park where the teens once played on the monkey bars and swang high in the Florida sun. We visited butterflies and a museum. We ate at restaurants, brought home takeout, and invited friends to dine with us. We swam in the community pool. My son-in-law fixed an electrical problem that would have cost hundreds had I called an electrician. My daughter and son-in-law ordered a dishwasher for my newly renovated kitchen. We stayed up way past my bedtime, but I was the only person awake at 6:45 AM.
