These lovely lines struck me, reminding me of a time of loss where I could NOT drive a certain road because I'd see a certain sign that reminded me of a certain someone. Years later, walking beside a friend going thru an equally crucifying loss, we held a moonlit ceremony, near the ocean. Burying a symbol of the past in the sand, knowing the ocean would take it at high tide.
