This absolutely happened to me throughout my 30s, 40s, and most of my 50s.

… write, paint, play music or chase other creative dreams, but then family comes, we start new jobs, get trapped by our new lives, then the pen and writing notebook become relics from our college days relegated to a bottom shelf in our office. There aren’t many things sadder than a dusty guitar on a stand in the corner of an unused bedroom.
