This is an amazingly powerful poem, Dennett. One that needs many readings - not because it isn't 'accessible' but because it says so much! Much of it between the lines. Or should I say 'pages'? I'm trying to think of a book, a tale of a spiritual journey, I'd liken it too...Oh! Got it - a poet whose name you'll recognize. Homer. The Odyssey!
