This is kind of embarrassing to admit, but for MONTHS after joining Medium, I was clueless about following for followers. (I did follow people who followed me -- it felt 'rude' and 'ungrateful' not to)

Fortunately I'm not on Medium to make a living; I'm simply having a blast 'meeting' writers and learning from them. Being inspired by them. I think fairly carefully about following now...and hope people do the same when they stumble across me.
