This just makes me sad. Big sigh. As if it isn't hard enough wrestling nouns, verbs, adjectives into something lovely. It's ironic but although I was a publicist for a living (now retired), I loathe marketing myself! And bots -- or whatever Bozos are out there now -- only make it more loathsome. My solution: to send out gratitude and compassion for fellow writers who legitimately follow me, then follow them in turn. We're all in this together!
