This morning's workbook in A Course in Miracles emphasized the efficacy of giving up "attack thoughts." Which I accept utterly but often find difficult to do, especially when it comes to the havoc and cruelty wreaked by DT, Musk, and minions. Every fiber in me quivers, yearning to attack them and those who voted DT/Vance into office.

THEN I remind myself of words from Marianne Williamson, whom I admire tremendously. She is a Course in Miracles teacher and political activist. Thx to her, I deep a deep breath...acknowledge I find the actions of MAGA morally intolerable and do what I can - I've joined Indivisible.org, for instance - to fight them.

Re voters, yeah, they were manipulated by Fox and fascists. Re Biden, he was manipulated by his coterie and ego when he should have gotten out after one term - perhaps if he had we wouldn't be in this mess.

It's so easy to judge all of them. It would feel good to judge them, in a lot of ways. But as the Course teaches me, it's ultimately "attack thoughts" that got us in this mess. Attack sparks attack, plus what we do to others, we are doing to ourselves.

Perhaps too woo woo for this discussion, but I thought I'd add it
