This so reminds me of a movie from the 80s or 90s called Shirley Valentine. Shirley was SO ready to break on thru to the other side from her drab London homemaker existence that, one day, she scribbled a note - Gone to Greece - and left it on the frig for husband and kids. Shirley as Queen Maeve.

Must tell you how much this boomer loves The Doors. I actually SAW them perform. And, when my daughter & I were in Paris, we went on a pilgrimage to Jim Morrison's grave. I so enjoyed this story I gave it 50 claps!!!!!
