Well, maybe over the years they have changed toe shoes' technology...but 40 years ago, it was killer. Some of my toenails are still weird. (hope that's not tmi) And I'd wobble like a reed in a tornado, trying to balance. Which is what ultimately did me in, in terms of progressing in ballet.

In another life, however...I will leap and soar! (Which is why spiritually I write about leaps and flight so often.)
