What a great piece! I related to so much - I was teased for my name and ethnicity as a child (last name, Bsharah/Lebanese) and I have to confess I love having a more pronounceable last name now. Kept it despite a divorce because it is ME. And it's obvious I believe in the power of names - I have so many crafted from Jenine. From J to Jen to Jeni to full on Jenine. Again, great piece.
