I co-wrote this ZENO triptych poem with my 8-year-old son. He was curious about my efforts to create poems for submitting to an anthology about ice and the environment and wanted to contribute a poem. He loves animals and so he wished to write about polar bears. He has written, with my help, a handful of poems about animals and two about the environment. With this poem, he wrote more than 50% of the words with encouragement from me to simplify or use a thesaurus to expand how he could say something.
